Corn dogs, corn dogs, they are so good to me!

" They're good when they're hot; they're good when they're cold; they're good when they're new; they're good when they're old. Corn dogs, corn dogs, they are so good to me!"

But I don't wanna go to bed!

So, the other night, I asked Morian to put Devin in his pajamas. He did, but Devin did not like that at all, b/c he knew that meant it was time to go to bed. So he grabbed his clothes and handed them to Morian and gestured that he wanted them back on. So, Morian put his clothes back on him over his pajamas. Devin was totally satisfied! Silly boy!

Wheeler Farm

My friend Kristy and I took our boys out to Wheeler Farm on Monday to see all the animals. We saw cows, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys, ducks, and geese.
I love this picture of Devin! I'm not really sure what he is doing, but they were looking at a cow.
Eww Mom! What's that smell?!

Apollo checking out the duck (or is it a goose?!)
We got some food to feed the ducks and geese and Devin liked to stick his hand in the bag and wiggle his fingers around before finally bringing out a handful...
and throwing it out to the ducks and geese
Take a look at this goose! He was very loud and hungry!
There was a "playhouse" that used to be an old chick coop, so we took the boys up in it.

Much needed vacation

So, this past week, we went on a cruise with our friends, Michael and Annie. We drove down to Las Vegas on Sunday and stayed the night, then continued on to San Diego on Monday morning. We got on the ship in the early afternoon and enjoyed some relaxation and also wandered the ship a bit. The ship sailed on Monday evening and arrived back in San Diego on Friday morning. We spent one day at sea, one day at Catalina Island, and one day at Ensanada, Mexico.

Happy Halloween!

For Halloween this year Devin was a giraffe. I got the costume on Tuesday, the 27th, from Babies R Us and it only cost me $5!! We went up to my parents' ward Halloween Party, where they served chili for dinner and had games for the kids.

Isn't Devin just the cutest giraffe ever?! What a sweetheart!

Devin had so much fun! He was running all over the place, just laughing and smiling!

Ghost bowling- Devin had fun running up to the pins and then throwing the ball at them!

Let's do it again!

Listening to a "scary" story with Grandma
Doing the cake walk with Daddy

On Halloween, we went Trick-or-Treating in Morian's mom's neighborhood so his mom and sisters would have a chance to see Devin all dressed up. Plus, the area is better than where we live! Devin was already dressed up when we got to her house and they all got a big kick out of his costume!

Out and about with Mommy and Aunt Shari

Daddy and Devin

Showing us how strong he is! Man, he got a lot of candy!

Inspecting his loot with Grandma's help

When people would let Devin pick out his own candy, his hand would shoot into the bowl and he would try and grab as much as he could with that one hand. One time, while we were talking with the lady at the door, Devin slowly walked up to the bowl, gingerly put his hand in, grabbed a candy, and hurried to put it in his basket. It was funny to watch! He had so much fun and I can't wait to take him out again next year! Hopefully I can convince Morian to dress up so we can all dress up together in a theme!
