In honor of Halloween, I decided to write in orange! So, I hope it is a good day for everyone, lots of fun! Did anyone carve pumpkins this year? I did! We had a group from the singles' ward come over on Monday for FHE and the activity was carving pumpkins. Mine (and Morian's) turned out like a devil or something. I like it!

Bad News Bears
Hey y'all! I've got some bad news. So, I was s'posed to go on this cruise first week of November as part of my job as a nanny. It woulda been all paid, plus I woulda gotten paid $100 per day. I was so stoked and got my passport and was ready to go! Then, this past week, my boss told me I wasn't gonna go. Instead getting 2 rooms like they did last year, they wanted to get only a suite. So it would be weird if I was there, sharing a room with them all, so I get to stay home. I was really quite ticked! Instead of getting paid to go on a free cruise, I had to take the week off. Which would be nice, but the money would be better to have. Though, my boss and the kids may not go now, so I might get to work after all. But it just won't be the same. I'm very sad!

It's Time For A Change
So, I've been wanting a change for a little while now. Usually when I'm feeling that way, I chop off my hair. But, I'm trying to grow it longer. So, I decided to dye it instead. Once I dyed it "caramel" and was thus nicknamed "the caramel one." It was a very light brown, I guess. This time I wanted to go darker.
Here is my before picture:

So, what does everyone think? I'd love to hear your thoughts, even if they are negative! (That way, I'll know never to do this to myself again!)

Sa-sa the Terrible Claw!
So, this is like 2 stories combined into one post. Hope that's okay! First, Terrible Claw! As you may have noticed, under my favorite links there is one called Dynomite. It is a game on shockwave.com that I have been addicted to for like ever! With each score you get, you get a name. I was really excited when I passed 30,000; then 40,000; and then 50,000. With 50,000 points you are a Thunder Lizard. I dunno how long I tried to get more than 60,000 so I could see whatI would be then. Yesterday when I got home from work, I sat down at the computer and turned the game on. The one and only game I played yesterday got me 66,960 points and I am now a Terrible Claw! I know you all are thinking what a big nerd I am, but I am quite proud of myself! You should try the game yourself and see for yourself how much practice it takes! Now, the Sa-sa issue. I mentioned in an earlier post that the youngest girl I watch called me du-dah (kind of like dada). Well, about a week ago, she started calling me Sa-sa. This made my heart sing and I'll tell you why! After my freshman year of college, I was lving back at home and nannying/baby-sitting a family in my ward. The mom had just gotten a divorce and had to go back to work. She had 4 kids ages 10 down to 2. The youngest was a boy named Zachary and he called me Sa-sa. So, to hear Hayden call me Sa-sa was just, ah! It's great! And today, Hayden stood at the fridge, pointing at a picture of me and saying, Sa-sa, Sa-sa, repeatedly. Good times y'all!
