Friends

So, this past weekend, we had a big ol' dinner get-together with Morian's old roommates and their wives. One couple, Andrew and Erika, were in town, and another couple, Dave and Heather, are soon to be moving out of state, so it was a fun excuse to get everyone together to visit, eat, and of course, watch the Jazz/Lakers basketball game.

Also pretty fun was Devin, Keegan, and Spencer seeing each other for the first time. (Well Devin and Soencer saw each other a few weeks ago.) They were all born within exactly 3 weeks of each other. Devin was first; a week later Keegan was born; and 2 weeks later Spencer was born. Spencer and Keegan were both pretty smiley and having fun. Devin had just woken up from a nap, so he was a little disoriented and sad for the first little while.

Help Needed

I am in desperate need of some advice/help. Any tips on getting a baby on a good wake/sleep schedule? Devin is so inconsistent and I just don't know what to do. One night he has to be nursed to sleep or else he won't sleep. The next, he wakes up screaming 2 minutes after I put him down and can't seem to settle himself back down. Naps are also crazy. From day to day, I never know when he'll sleep, or for how long. So, any tips on how to get my baby to sleep at about the same times every day would be GREATLY appreciated!

HAPPY EASTER!

I know this post is almost a week old, but it's been kind of a crazy week!

Devin had fun digging through his Easter basket that Grandma Patty gave him. He was mostly interested in trying to eat the grass! And making a mess, of course!

He wore his new Sunday suit that Grandma Esther gave him. We weren't able to button the top button, so Devin didn't wear the tie that came with it, but he still looked super cute! He was the best looking baby at church, that's for sure!

After church, we took some pictures outside and then came in for a few, but we didn't get a family shot. My mistake!

We went up to my parents' house for and Easter dinner of ham and potatoes and asparagus. I brought a berry blue jell-o with raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries in it. It was way good! It was fun to hang out with my whole family, visiting and playing games.

Next year, as Devin will be about 18 months old, I want to tryand dye eggs and have an Easter egg hunt. All those things I did as a child and just didn't even think about doing this year! I'm sure Devin will have more fun with is next year anyways!

Baby's First Tooth

So, Devin has finally cut his first tooth. I've been checking his gums for weeks now especially when he's a little more cranky and nothing has been there. Until today. I definately felt the tooth and could kind of see it, when Devin would let me get a look at his gums! It's on the bottom, on the right, I think. He has been more fussy than usual lately, especially at night, waking up when he used to sleep. I think it has to do with the tooth finally breaking through. So, this is exciting, but I'm kinda sad to see my baby growing up! Plus, I'm not really looking forward to the side effects of him having teeth, if ya catch my drift!
