ARCHES NATIONAL PARK- November 8

We went on a spur-of-the-moment trip to Arches National Park with Patty, Cecilia, and Shari. We didn't get down there until like midnight! But we had a good day of hiking the next day and we didn't have to carry Devin and Mackenzie the whole time! So, that's a plus!

MBASA HALLOWEEN PARTY- October 30

MBASA throws a fun Halloween party complete with dinner and games. I actually convinced Morian to dress up with me this year (since we also had the other party to go to and could wear them trick-or-treating as well). He was Where's Waldo and I was Wenda. Devin was Harry Potter. Mackenzie was Rapunzel.

We ended up with 6 pumpkins (!) so we let the kids paint their very own before carving the others.

HALLOWEEN PARTY- October 25

Man, the 25th was a jam-packed day for us! That evening, Morian and I went to a Halloween party put on by our good friends, Ethan and Cami Wing (from the MBA program/MBASA). There were several other couples there, all in costumes and we ate snacks and played games and visited.

We played a really fun game where we put a stocking on our head with a tennis ball in the end of it and had to knock down a row of water bottles the fastest. Using only the ball. It was hilarious!

LAGOON FRIGHTMARES- October 25

Cecilia really wanted to go to Lagoon Frightmares with her family after getting home from her mission, so of course we jumped at the chance to go ahead! This was my first time going to Frightmares, and though we weren't there in the evening when all the scary stuff is out, it was fun for the kids during the day! They had face cut out pictures all over the place to get your picture taken in!

MACKENZIE'S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION- October 25

To celebrate Mackenzie's birthday, we all gathered at mom and dad's house with Morian's mom and sisters and nephew for cake and presents. Mackenzie chose to have Frozen cupcakes.

 For some reason, she was being really shy. Maybe because there were so many people there for her.

MACKENZIE IS 4- October 23

On October 23, lil' miss Mackenzie turned 4 years old! She is spunky and delightful and loves to pose for pictures! Her primary teacher brought over the balloon for her, which she was pretty excited about!

CECILIA RETURNS FROM HER MISSION- October 22

Sis. Black (Cecilia) came home from her misison on October 22, 2014. We barely made it to the rest of the family before Shari took off running up the escalator because she saw Cecilia!

BYU HOMECOMING- October 18

For BYU's homecoming, we had a full day of events. 

It started with blue pancakes with my mom by Brick Oven and watching the parade.
