This year we spent Easter Sunday with Morian's mom and sisters. We made it to their house just in time for the first session of conference. It was nice to have the extra help to keep an eye on Devin! Devin was a little stinker and only took a short nap between sessions, so we needed something to keep him occupied. We filled a few plastic eggs with candy and hid them around in the area that he was playing in. And when he started getting restless, we would distract him by getting him to looks for the eggs, one at a time. Each time he found one, he'd take it and sit down on Morian's lap and open it. The first time he was so excited to see it full of candy! He proceeded to stuff his mouth! After that first time, he knew exactly what to expect in the eggs!
Unfortunately, Devin has had a runny nose and a recent cough for a while and yesterday as we sat down to eat Easter dinner (ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, asparagus, purple cauliflower, salad, and rolls- yum!) he was suddenly really cranky and wouldn't eat anything, not even a roll. He spilled water all over his shirt and that was bugging him so we stripped him down to his diaper and he felt really warm. We decided it would be best to cut our evening short and take him home so he could sleep and get some medicine. He did have a temperature of 101.2, so we gave him some Tylenol and put him to bed at 6:30. Thankfully he didn't wake up early this morning, but unfortunately, he didn't sleep in either. We're having a movie day, as I don't feel very well either. :(
In other news, Morian started his new job today. He had to leave at 6:45 to be there by 8. Yikes! We really need to find a place to live that is closer...and soon!

We missed you guys yesterday, but I guess I can learn to take turns having you here one year and there the next.... ;) I'm sorry Devin wasn't feeling well. Glenn wasn't feeling too well, either. He got a cough and seemed a little cranky at times, although he was happy most of the time (except at nap time). Good luck with the new job, Morian! Kirst, you and Devin get better - I hope Morian doesn't get sick, too.
Looks like a fun Easter! It will be fun to see you guys tomorrow and now that Morian is working back in SLC it will be good to have you guys back in SLC!
I Love the pics you posted at the top of your blog--looks great! Congrats on the job!! Devin looks so much older since the last time i looked--and he looks very active :)

OH my would you LOOK at that cute boy?? He is sooo darling. Can't wait to see you all and congratulations about the new job! That has to feel good. And hope you get feeling better.
