So we actually got a pumpkin this year! We decided to carve it on Oct. 30, in preparation of Halloweenthe next day.
Devin wanted to help "cut" it.
He did not like the feel of the "guts!"

Devin kept telling us he wanted a scary face and then would show us what he wanted, but when Morian tried to draw it out, he'd never get it right. Until he tried some vampire teeth. Devin approved!
The mouth is finally finished!

Devin wanted triangle eyes originally, but Morian had a different idea!
Along with the pumpkin carving, the kids painted little pumpkins. Morian got one from work and so we got another one so the kids could both have one. Yeah, it was almost impossible finding a mini pumpkin the day before Halloween!
