So, the other day it was really nice, so Morian and I decided to take Devin to the park and see how he liked it. First, we put him on the swings. I love how he onto the chains and stayed that way the whole time! But he didn't get scared or anything, and though he didn't smile or laugh, I think he enjoyed it!
Then he went down a couple slides a couple times. The very first time, he pretty much went down my himself, but he was a champ. He was a little nervous, but no crying or anything.
He also just walked around on the playground thing. There was a bridge and he seemed a little nervous about walking on it, like he wasn't sure if it could hold him or something. Funny kid!
Some other kids came and started playing and he just wanted to follow them around. He does that sort of thing a lot. No stranger anxiety for Devin!
We took a break from the playground and walked towards some trees and grass. Devin had fun picking up sticks and leaves. He was so cute; he'd pick up something with one hand and out it into his other hand to hold. He had quite the collection of sticks in his right hand. Until he came to a crack in the sidewalk and all the sticks were on the ground as he tried to dig up some dirt. Which he promptly tried to eat! Silly boy!
Before we went home, he enjoyed sharing my oatmeal cream pie with me!

what a cutie - he almost doesn't look like a baby anymore - he's a toddler now and growing up way too fast!!!! Slow down, little guy! But have fun and keep learning and doing cute things! We love you!

I love seeing them explore outside. They have so much fun! And you have a seriously cute little boy. My favorite picture is him holding all the sticks :) a future environmentalist.
