At our ward Christmas party on December 12, Santa Claus came to visit the kids. I took Devin up and he was so scared! He clung to me, wrapping his little legs around my waist! He did take the candy cane Santa offered, but he started crying when Santa tried to sit him on his lap! we were going to take him to see Santa at the library and possibly the mall, but maybe we won't now!

We got a decently nice picture of our family with Santa. But Devin was like, "Why are we going back to him?!" and I had to make sure he didn't get to close to Santa! Silly boy!

How funny! Maybe if you take him to the mall and let him watch all the other kids go sit on his lap, then he might think it's okay - but who knows? You never quite know what kids are thinking.... Maybe it's the beard - remember how he used to look so wary of Don when he had a big beard?
One day he will realize who brings all the present!
I think the exposure to Santa is good even if he won't sit on his lap yet. That's been my plan this year--just let Keegan see Santa as much as possible so he knows not to be afraid. It seems to be working a little! :)
