The kids had been wanting to make sugar cookies like all month, but I told them we should wait until Grandma gets here. And even then, it took us until Christmas Eve to finally make them! But we had to have cookies to leave out for Santa!
They were excited to help me roll out the dough and use the cookie cutters! (And maybe sneak a little cookie dough! But who can blame them?! That stuff is good!)
Morian was able to get off work early so he was here for the cookie action too!
Even Grandma helped!

These were the cookies we left out for Santa! One of each shape we made and the best we could do decoration-wise with my limited stock of food coloring and sprinkles!
The kids also got to pick a small gift to open.
And they both happened to pick gifts from Grandma Esther that were similar!

That was definitely a fun day with all of you! Panda Express food, making cookies, opening gifts, leaving cookies for Santa, etc. I love that the kids picked my book gifts! :)
